This is a whale shoulder blade carving of a polar bear with walrus ivory and baleen eyes and baleen nose and foot. The back side has a relief carved halibut with baleen inlay. Carved by an Alaskan Native Inuit artist EJ Weyiouanna from Shishmaref, AK. Measures approximately 21" high by 29" wide by 7" deep.
Eye has a crack on the left side of the ivory.
