This caribou skin mask was made with dehaired caribou skin. It has silver fox and polar bear fur. The face has acrylic and wax coating the surface & a water-based sealer coating on the back. The ears are mixed media. Made by Inuit artist Aakatchaq Schaeffer of Kotzebue, Ak. This measures approximately 17" tall x 11" across x 4" depth.
